Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Purpose
FAMEHERO aims to provide a fair, transparent, and trustworthy service for advertisers. This Refund Policy outlines how disputes are handled, when refunds may be issued, and how FAMEHERO helps resolve conflicts between parties.
2. Advertiser Review of Deliverables
Advertisers must review each article draft submitted to them on the platform before it is sent for publishing. They should do so promptly upon notification and within 7 days of submission. Unless auto-publish is disabled in account settings (it is enabled by default), failure to approve or request revisions within 7 days constitutes deemed approval and the article may proceed to publication. If auto-publish is disabled, failure to approve or request revisions within 30 days of submission may result in cancellation of that article, as described in our Content Policy.
3. Cancellation
If you have placed an order for a product/service that falls within the scope of prohibited content, or restricted content that we are not able to validate, we may, at our entire discretion, cancel your order and refund you on your credit card, less a 5% financial charge plus US$0.50.
The Client understands that production begins immediately upon order confirmation and payment, and no refunds or cancellations will be permitted for the current billing cycle once production has started.
4. Subscription Cancellation
Advertisers can cancel their subscription at any time and at their discretion. To do so, please use the cancel feature on the platform. Once you cancel your subscription, we will keep providing you with the services for the latest invoice charged and paid, but we will stop charging you for the next term. You will still be able to access the platform for the retrieval of your previously published content and previous billing.
Reservation Fee and Free Trial
Where a free trial or authorization hold applies, no payment is taken during the trial period — only a temporary authorization hold, which is released if the Advertiser cancels before the trial period ends. Any $1 campaign reservation fee is non-refundable and secures campaign planning and resource allocation.
Cancellation Before Charge
The Advertiser may cancel a campaign at any time before the end of the free trial period (where applicable), before the first article draft is delivered, or before the next billing period. In such cases, any authorization hold is released and no charge will be applied for that period.
Cancellation After Charge
Once the free trial period has ended, the first article draft has been delivered, or a billing period has been charged (whichever applies), the amount charged becomes non-refundable. Cancellation stops future renewals only; amounts already charged are not refunded, as production, publishing, and related work have commenced.
Revisions
FameHero offers reasonable revisions as part of its service. Dissatisfaction with style, tone, or editorial direction does not constitute grounds for a refund once service delivery has commenced.
3. Dispute Process
If an advertiser raises a dispute, FAMEHERO will:
- Review all relevant information
- Request clarifications or additional evidence
- Attempt to provide remedies and reach an amicable settlement
4. Resolution Outcomes
Following review, FAMEHERO may determine a partial or complete refund (less a financial fee of 5% and USD0.50), or a store credit. All decisions are made by FAMEHERO in good faith, based on the available evidence. FAMEHERO's decision is final.
5. Refunds
Refunds can only be processed to the same credit card used for the purchase.
6. Chargebacks
FAMEHERO strives to resolve disputes internally and prevent chargebacks.
In the event a chargeback is initiated by an advertiser, FAMEHERO will contact the advertiser and try to reach an amicable settlement by means of chargeback cancellation or credit, in part or in full, through the platform. Alternatively, FAMEHERO may accept or reject the chargeback with the credit card issuer.
Repeated or unfair chargeback may result in the Advertiser's account being suspended or terminated.
7. Good Faith and Platform Integrity
Both advertisers and FAMEHERO are expected to act in good faith and communicate respectfully during the dispute process.
Misuse of the dispute or refund process (e.g., false claims, fraudulent use) may result in account suspension or termination.
8. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to ensure fairness, compliance, and effectiveness.
